Fun for all ages and abilities, the maize maze offers a great day out and a place to picnic and enjoy the open air. Located close to the 12th Century Brimstage Hall and village and with other attractions including a small family farm, tractor and trailer rides, a craft centre and a restaurant, this is an ideal location for a daytrip.

Church Farm is a busy urban farm, situated in a conservation area near Wirral Country Park, boasting superb views over the River Dee. The farm hosts children’s parties, school visits, bed and breakfast accommodation, caravanning and camping all year round. Seasonal events such as the Easter egg hunt, the lavender maze and Christmas shopping keep visitors entertained all year round. The award winning farm shop sells a wide range of organic and non-organic produce.

Dale Farm is a day centre for adults with learning difficulties, which includes a sensory garden and water features. Dale Farm is a day centre for adults with learning difficulties, which promotes independence through various aspects of horticulture. The site boasts a sensory garden with water features and pools. Visitors can also see organic vegetables being grown, whilst walking around the fields and polytunnels. Situated near Heswall Dales and the Wirral Country Park, Dale Farm has extensive views of the Welsh hills and is conveniently located for walkers who wish to rest in its tranquil surroundings. The Farm Shop sells organic vegetables, honey, perennial and bedding plants, all of which were grown on the farm.

New Ferry Butterfly Park used to be the railway good yard at Bebington and New Ferry Station. The railway activities left behind sidings, lime waste, coal dust and clay soils. Wildlife has moved in to make grasslands and woodland, to which we have added two ponds. Many types of mini-beast thrive here, including butterflies, moths, shield bugs, grasshoppers, snails, spiders, bees and a variety of pond life. The southern half of the Park has wheelchair-accessible paths. There is limited car parking available within the Park.

We are a small urban farm with pigs, sheep, poultry, goats and a few pets. We have a café, play area, gift shop, nature trail and regular events. The farm is adjacent to Bidston Hill with extensive walks and trails over heathland and woodland. Entry is free and we are open daily 9.30 – 4.30.
